This announcement exists to list all the common sources used when dealing with reports. While I intend to use this primarily for underage characters when dealing with reports regarding them, I think we might be able to use this for other reports as well.

Jeffrey’s Exif Viewer - Breaks down image info
TinEye - Reverse image search
SauceNAO - Pixiv, magazine, anime, and some other things
iqdb - Image board search (will lead you to danbooru, zerochan, etc. which may have sources leading back to pixiv)

What is For da Justice?

Hello all!

I felt a quick introduction to #FordAJustice was needed.

Our Ford is meant to be a place for lurkers to hang out, chat about policy, and generally have a laugh with one another. This is not the place to report violations, nor is it the place to complain about staff actions taken against you.

We are not admins. We cannot make anything happen, nor do we control policy. Only the admins do that.

We are not trolls. We are not going to troll anyone for you, nor become your personal army. You may have seen some groups which take vigilante action; but that's not us.

This is not the place to report violations. That can be done via the Help Desk, or the 'Report' button under every deviation

You do not need to be a reporter in this group to report violations of policy!

If you have a gallery that you need help reporting (ie; need sources, multiple pages of violations), just ask.

When in doubt, read the +help section. Questions regarding policy should be directed towards staff.

We are not a vigilante group! We will not help you harass, troll, or flame someone for disagreeing with you!

Hey all,
Long-time member, barely ever post... Just wondering:

1. How many people here post comments like "You know this is against dA policy?" and get a positive result? (i.e. the submission is deleted by the owner AND they learn their lesson)

2. Is this a method you (might) resort to when you've done all you can, but fail to find the proper original source? Or the staff take to long to respond to your "Report Policy Violation"?

3. Has anyone discussed or maybe researched other methods for dealing with stuff we know, in good faith, is breaking rules/laws - but can't feasibly resolve?

I'm really not a fan of the statement: "Oh well, your art is on the internet. You can't save it from being stolen. Too bad there's nothing you can do."
